The Nordic Tattoo Convention

I had followed Peter Isar Oakmund for years. He is one of the world's greatest Nordic tattooers, fully submerged in the culture, and he invited me to the Moot, the gathering he created so Nordic tattooers would have a space entirely their own. York, or Jorvik as the Vikings called it, is a medieval city in the north of England. I sat down with Isar to learn his story and why he built this, and met some of the greatest Nordic tattooers working today.
